This book is a journey through Ian's life covering the past fifty years.
Ian first started writing during the 1960s when he discovered the poetry and music of Rod McKuen who was a big influence on him, especially during his darker days as a struggling singer/songwriter.
Some of the writings developed into songs which helped Ian along the path as a Country music entertainer. As you will see, these were greatly influenced by the songwriting of the late Carl Perkins and the fabulous voice of the late Slim Whitman whose music he incorporates into his shows today.
