I have not listed the convict names in this index in alphabetical order because of the great length of time it takes, but moreso because I want my readers to become more involved in Family Research by having to search through the shipping lists themselves.
The Jail Clerks who made up the shipping lists so long ago, unfortunately listed some of the ships together, such as Nile, Minorca and Canada; also the ships Coromandel and Perseus; and Coromandel and Experiment.
The names of the convicts who died could be ascertained from the Surgeons' reports for the voyages - many of the reference codes for these reports could be obtained from my book No. 7. James McClelland, OAM
