This book may not be of much use to people who have access to large libraries or overseas telephone directories, but then my books are specially written for Australians who do not live close to large cities or large country towns where record facilities are available.
I myself learn something from every book I write. From this book I must say that I am absolutely astounded at the 'one only' of surnames in Ireland. I mean the number of them - thousands of surnames of which there are only one family listed in the Irish phone books. That is the reason I will have to sell this book in two parts: 'Surnames A-Mc' and 'Surnames M-Z'. I do not like having to sell a book in two parts but it is extremely important that I record every surname that is being used in Ireland at this point in time.
