"The MonSter was based on many diaries I kept following diagnosis with Mutiple Sclerosis in 2007. I kept track of my symptoms, treatments, exercises I was able to do and feelings while trying to make sense of it all. It didn't make sense to me that I was doing everything right, and yet I was still as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike.
The MonSter followed the highs and the tragic lows of the first 11 years sharing my life with the MonSter. My intention was for the book to be helpful to those in a similiar situation and so far many, mainly without the medical condition, have reported they couldn't put it down and it is inspirational.
